The 300-year old Georgian Hall can accommodate up to 26 guests in 11 bedrooms. All the bedrooms are individually designed and named on a theme linked to the history of the Hall. It is the ultimate intimate celebration venue for distinctive house parties and a premier wedding setting.
We are licensed for weddings in both the Hall with its sweeping staircase or in the Orangery which has fantastic views to the Cheviots and Simonside Hills.

We pride ourselves on being 'delightfully different'! The beauty of Woodhill is that we are not a hotel and will not operate as one. The Hall is perfect for those looking for a more intimate and relaxed location for your special day.
We offer a brand new concept that is an alternative to hotel accommodation and weddings. There are no restrictions regarding minimum numbers of guests for weekend weddings. You can bring your own caterers and are not tied in house caterers. If you have less than 26 guests to your wedding you can bring your own alcohol.
For larger weddings marquees can be erected in-front of the Hall to take full advantage of the fabulous views that the Hall has. A licensed bar can be organised if required.
We offer exclusive use wedding hire and offer you flexibility to make your special day completely unique.
