Large Group Rental Information:
Muddifords Court is licensed for civil weddings and is set in a little corner of heaven in the open countryside within the attractive Culm Valley close to the edge of the Blackdown hills.

A beautifully restored Georgian country house worthy of a film set brought back to life in beautiful Devon, incredibly convenient but totally private. The estate owns its own huge magical cobbled courtyard of party barns also licensed for civil weddings and is wrapped by its own 14-acres of lush green gardens and pastures either side of a 150-yard tree lined carriageway. Huge entrance pillars with automated gates leads you passed the impressive lake to the exceptionally romantic Medieval house of elegance and importance.

Imagine sitting by the roaring carved stone fireplaces in the great hall and library with a port in hand to relax and unwind reflecting on the day gone by. The flagstone floors and other snug rooms with Inglenook fireplaces, bread ovens, cobbled well room offer the cosy family atmosphere, with a glass of mulled wine you couldn’t be in more relaxing surroundings. The seven huge bedrooms most with bathrooms have solid oak planked floors and offer a sumptuous night sleep for however many evenings you wish. Muddifords offers a unique ability in that it is "more like coming home than going away".

In order to create the right atmosphere and to ensure a magnificent occasion, Muddifords is offered to clients only as total exclusive-use of the entire property including its tremendous historic cobbled courtyard and grounds as your special wedding reception, business or private functions, for a number of nights tailored to your needs. Our great hall is licensed for civil ceremony/partnership weddings and other rooms are licensed also for your choice, including the historic courtyard, on a self-catering or catered basis. It really is a magical place for a dream wedding or very special family occassion.

Catering: Self-catering, or a higher level of service to include full fine dinning, hog roast, butler and services can be arranged
Kitchen: 8 metres x 5 metres, a huge farmhouse 'happy space' very light. Large range cooker, French doors out onto large flagged patio areas and walled garden.
Dining Room:  Large room with open fireplace, to dine 16 people around one table. Larger dinning parties for an event can use the cider house in the courtyard 175+!
Sitting Room: Well catered for by 2 formal lounges. Huge carved stone fireplaces with ornate large cornice plasterwork. 1 Snug with Inglenook woodburner, bread oven
TV and Music Facilities: Two TVs (HD flat screen 32"). CD playing facilities
Heating/Open Fires:  Gas central heating operating ornate cast iron radiators. The huge fireplaces are a wonderful feature of Muddifords Court. Logs available
Bedrooms: The seven huge bedrooms most with bathrooms have solid oak planked floors and offer a sumptuous night sleep for however many evenings you wish.
Linen: Provided to accommodate 16 guests at any one time. Luxurious quality - nothing less!
Bathrooms: All bathrooms are equally as impressive as the rest of the estate. 'Roll top' and 'Slipper' cast iron baths are standard with double showers also.

Nearest Shop:  1 mile; supermarket, 4 miles.
Nearest Pub/Eatery:  4 all very enjoyable pubs within 1.5 miles. Fine dinning restaurants within 10 miles.
Nearest Airport:  Exeter 15 miles. Range of international flights
