|
One of three areas of England officially designated as unspoilt, yet only a few miles from the rugged Devon coastline with its breathtaking scenery and coastal walks.
The Manor House accommodates 17 people in nine9 bedrooms and five bathrooms.
On the ground floor there is a large reception hall, two large reception rooms, dining room, library, a cloakroom and an enormous farmhouse kitchen with vaulted beamed ceilings, slate floor with underfloor heating and a triple Aga.
On the first floor there are five bedrooms (3 en-suite) and a large family bathroom. On the second floor there are four more bedrooms and another family bathroom.
The holiday cottages accommodate two to seven people in one to three bedrooms.
All the cottages are heated (central heating and/or electric radiators), fully equipped with cookers, microwave and toasters, colour TV with Freeview and DVD players.
Duvets, duvet covers, pillows, pillowslips and sheets are provided, All you have to bring are towels (although we can supply these for you at a small charge - arrangements to be made before arrival).
Cots and high chairs are available on request prior to arriving and anything else that you require we will try our best to provide for you. There is ample parking adjacent to the cottages.
There is a laundry room with a washing-machine and tumble-dryer for our guests to use.
Whilst we are animal lovers and dogs and cats are very welcome at a small charge, by prior arrangement, we ask that owners take every care to keep their pets under control and to clean up after them.
Total group accommodation is 40 people. Dogs are welcome in the cottages.
Foxdown Manor is situated in eight acres of woodlands with a croquet lawn alongside gardens and a stream. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds and view the abundant wild life. |

The Manor House and cottages are self-contained however catering can be organized. |
| Kitchen:
The kitchens are modern and well equipped with ample cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Large groups can be catered for. |
| Dining Room:
Each cottage and the Manor house has adequate seating but should you require further seating please let us know on booking. |
| Sitting Room:
Sitting rooms have TV, DVD and free to view box. Comfortable sofas and seating for more than the maximum occupancy of the cottage. |
| TV and Music Facilities:
TV, DVD players and freeview boxes available in every cottage. |
| Heating/Open Fires:
The Manor House has log-burning stoves, open fires and central heating plus underfloor heating. The cottages are heated by electric radiators. |
| Bedrooms:
All bedding is provided and each room is well furnished, some en suite facilities are available. |

| Bathrooms:
All baths have over the bath showers and towels can be provided at £5 per pack (1 bath, 1 hand) |
| Disabled Facilities:
Frobisher Cottage (sleeps 5) is all on one level, has a ramp to the front door, large doors and a large bathroom. Limited disabled access. |

Cots, high chairs and stair gates are available. Toys, games DVDs are available in the laundry room |
